I usually set a fixed rate when working with my clients unless they are having substantial financial issues where I can work at a discounted rate or even pro bono in few circumstances.

The first session helps clarify questions that the client may have regarding the practical side of coming into counselling, such as confidentiality and frequency of meetings. We then continue onto an assessment phase to see the client's needs and goals s/he wants to work on. Depending on the goals, we set out to work, which includes helping the client with introspection, setting up of new coping mechanisms and tools to help them in their immediate life.

I have a Masters degree in Couples & Family Therapy which really helps me to work in a systemic perspective, i.e. looking at the big picture which often provides more long-term results and sustenance rather than just trying to treat the symptoms. I am also a Certified Consulting Hypnosis which enables me to use Hypnosis as a therapeutic tool to help my clients to delve deeper into their subconscious mind to create more rapid and longstanding change, as well as provide them an altogether new way of looking at their problems and therefore solutions.

By obtaining training in my Masters program, I really started to know what it feels like to be a counsellor. This initiated me on a lifelong journey of self-discovery and healing both for myself and for my clients.

I have had experience working with a diverse population of clients such as but not limited to children, adolescent, individuals, couples, families who adhere to different belief structures and follow different lifestyles, identities and sexual orientations
